Christmas Lunch at Bowcliffe Hall

At Bowcliffe we don’t offer traditional Christmas parties, instead opting to do things a little differently. With the focus on exquisite food and spectacular surroundings, this year the Bowcliffe Drivers’ Club is the backdrop for the heavenly Christmas Luncheon menu, created by Executive Chef, Andy Lawson. Perfect for entertaining clients, celebrating Christmas with the team or just an excuse to escape from the office for something a little different, starters include beetroot-cured salmon and honey-glazed French goats’ cheese, whilst main courses offer our very own Laudale Estate venison and of course, free-range turkey leg and breast. For those unable to resist dessert, don’t miss the clementine sponge or the Bowcliffe Christmas pudding.

Divine bite-sized canapés are quite simply the best way to welcome guests into your home during the festive season. And so – in anticipation of the many celebrations you’re sure to be holding this Christmas – we’ve created an exclusive Canapé Masterclass and Lunch event with Bowcliffe Executive Chef, Andy Lawson. Taking place in the pretty Potting Shed, you’ll spend time with our resident culinary talent, Andy – previously a Betty’s Cookery School tutor and a familiar face at the Great Yorkshire Show – as he teaches you how to create four delicious, miniature masterpieces. Then, you’ll enjoy a delicious two-course lunch, specially created by Andy for the event.

In what will likely be the most charming event of the year, we welcome you to celebrate the festive season and join us in creating your own, beautiful Christmas wreath using foliage, mosses, and berries all gathered from around the Bowcliffe Estate. Following tea, coffee and festive biscuits on arrival, the wonderful Bowcliffe Hall Gardens Team will give a demonstration and then provide all the assistance you need to make your own festive wreath. After the class, you will enjoy a mouth-watering two-course lunch especially created by Bowcliffe’s Executive Chef, Andy Lawson.
